I have Parkinson´s disease (dg 2007) for almost 20 years. The disease is progressive and incurable.
Hands have tremor so badly that you can,t write your name. That is the reason why I stopped writing to the forum.
To make life better, it is possible to install electrodes in the brain and with a remote control stimulate certain area of the brain
so that the symptoms disappear. The method is called Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS),
I had the operation in Oct 2024 and my life got much better. I can even grow chilis!!!!!!!
Now I am past 70 and antennas on my head but still enjoying life.

Holy crap dude, sad hearing you are/were this sick but very happy that modern medicine could help you to live a normal life and enjoy every moment! And you're still young in heart enjoying the nice things in life, keep your head up high and show us "young ones" how it's done hope to read a lot longer from you man!

Hi Rauno, I'm so glad you're feeling better I often think about it... your visits to the chili festival were unique Warmest regards to your family and of course I wish you a pleasant gardening season.

Still sowing. Old seeds (5- 6 yrs old )
C. eximium CAP 1491 has about 2% germination rate. The other wilds have less.
Tepin Peru x Tepin Tarahumara is a new item ( had only 4 seeds but you never know....)

it's a pleasure to read that you still grow chilis! I enjoy it - Hopefully you are able to show us some impressive pictures or share your grow with us textually
So, this was my last post in your Thread from '24. Now there are 12 years of Hot-Pain and the more (or most) important thing is - you got the medical treatment.

Hello!
Almost all of the old seeds failed.
Survivors;
CAP1491 has flowers.
Rocoto Red Giant de Areguipa in Hydro has about 6cm fruit and is 190cm in height.
Aji Mango grows well.
Potato farmer´s market (Jalapeno) is flowering.
Naga Morich in hydro is growing well.
